Officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the investigation, sealed the restaurant “Chveneburi” in Khelvachauri Municipality for repeated violations of the isolation and quarantine rules.
The investigation established that the mentioned facility was fined for violating the rules of isolation and quarantine. Despite the imposition of an administrative penalty, the administration of the restaurant continued its economic activities prohibited by the Decree issue by the Government of Georgia, thus led to launch an investigation under the article 2481 of the Criminal Code of Georgia and the facility has been sealed.
According to the article 2481 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, repeated commitment of the same action by an administrative convict for violation of isolation and / or quarantine rules results in criminal liability, in particular, in case of a legal entity - fining, deprivation of the right to operate, as well as the possibility of joint application of the fine and liquidation, and in case of a natural person - house imprisonment for the period from six months to two years and / or the term of imprisonment for up to three years.
